Lovely Day at NYBG with Friend Ana
Ana and I went to the New York Botanical Garden. We took the Northern train from Grand Central Station. I always feel like I am walking through time at that station… we took the 25 minute ride through Manhattan to the Bronx. Once we arrived we found ourselves walking through the grass eager to see what we came for… THE ORCHIDS!
Here are some photos I took of the orchids. Some of these images are data bends, an image I create by altering the code of the digital image. It creates this stuck in the matrix data glitch.
On the way home we stopped the The Grand Central Oyster Bar for a snack (martinis and oysters). I highly recommend this place. If you want to keep that walking through time feel, this place is packed with weird heritage moments. And you just have to wonder who’s walked these halls and sat in these retro loungers?
